Society of Professional Journalists

The Society of Professional Journalists is a national organization dedicated to growing and maintaining the practice of journalism in the United States. SPJ hosts a yearly conference that SPJ executive members can attend.

The UW student chapter of SPJ provides students interested in the broader journalism field, from photojournalism to public relations and everything in between, opportunities to learn more about the field. We organize workshops, tour newsrooms, host guest speakers and more!
